NOMINATION WORKSHOP
If you've been considering nominating someone but are unsure about the process or what's involved, we have exciting news for you! Next week, we're hosting a special Nomination Workshop on November 2nd, at 12:30 PM to assist and guide nominators.
This is your chance to receive hands-on assistance, ask questions, and gain valuable insights to ensure your nomination stands out.
AWARD CATEGORIES
Education & Literacy Award
Honors volunteers dedicated to promoting education and literacy through activities including tutoring, adult literacy, early childhood education, and intergenerational programs.
Going Green Award
Honors volunteers who work to protect and beautify our environment and natural surroundings, advocate for the preservation of our planet, and strive to instill these values for our community.
Quality of Life Award
Honors volunteers who work to improve the quality of life of people facing homelessness, illness, and poverty, as well as assisting the disabled, elderly, veterans, and those with substance abuse challenges.
Social Advocacy Award
Honors volunteers who advocate for and support our community in areas such as human rights, domestic violence, housing, and job preparedness.
Resiliency Award
Honors volunteers whose service has helped them overcome adversity or personal challenges, including intellectual and physical disabilities, illness, incarceration, homelessness or other life-changing events.
Youth Leadership Award
Honors volunteers who are 21 years old or younger and who have demonstrated leadership or outstanding volunteer service in support of a cause or nonprofit.
