Winter Reading Challenge
Visit the NTL to pick up your winter reading challenge! Just pick up the board (or print your own from home here), do 10 of the 13 challenges, return the form to the circulation desk for an NTL mug and hot chocolate!
Anyone can participate as long as they are able to return the board back to the circulation desk in order to receive their prize.
Amy Roberts Art Exhibit
Visit the NTL not only for books, but to view the work of Massachusetts artist, Amy Roberts. Her full bio can be found on her website. Don't miss it! This exhibit will be up through the end of February.
Winter Hat & Mitten Drive

This is a drop-in session with Tomas on a first come, first served basis. Please make sure to bring any passwords you need, charging cables and the device you need assistance with.

6 Week Gentle Yoga Series
Begins January 24 on Tuesdays at 11am
Registration Required
Join Beth Houlihan of Roots to Wings Yoga & Healing Center for Gentle Yoga class on Tuesdays from 11am-12pm at the Newbury Town Library. This will be a slower flowing gentle class that includes warm up stretching, breathing practices, twists and deep relaxation. No prior yoga experience needed. More info here....

Mindfulness Workshop
January 25 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm

The workshop goals are:
- Share the "What, Why, and How" of Mindfulness.
- Practice the mindfulness techniques we learn in a Group Mindfulness Exercise.
- Provide participants with supports and resources to customize a sustainable mindfulness practice at home that best fits their schedule and needs. More info here....

(Formerly Knitting Fridays) Bring your latest project and knit/crochet/embroidery/etc with us on Friday afternoons at 1pm - all levels welcome! Participants bring their own supplies and work on their own projects. This is a great time to connect with other fiber crafters and learn from each other.

Join us for Book Club! We're reading Maid by Stephanie Land. It is available in regular print, large print, audiobook, and is downloadable from Overdrive as an ebook or audio book. Copies are available for pickup at the Circulation Desk.
The Newbury Library Book Club is now meeting on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:00pm. New members are welcome and encouraged! No registration required.
