The Newberry Watermelon Festival Beauty Pageant is a long standing tradition. The Queen and other members of the court have duties all year long representing Newberry, and the Watermelon Festival. There are groups for all ages, just pick your age group from the menu above.

-WATERMELON PARADE AND GOLF CART COMPETITION

The Newberry Watermelon Festival Parade is on Saturday, May 21st. All businesses, schools, clubs, sports teams, etc are invited to participate. New to the parade this year is a Golf Cart Competition, the theme is Watermelon. Decorate those golf carts to help us celebrate 77 years of the festival and 127 years of Newberry. Must be in the parade to participate in the competition. Winner will be announced at the festival.
