The Hidden Heroes Of Fairfield County: A Conversation With Sexual Assault Advocacy Volunteers
Tomorrow! Thursday, December 8 • 6 pm
Tomorrow night, join us for a special Cocktails and Conversation with advocates from The Rowan Center, a sexual assault resource agency serving Lower Fairfield County. The panelists will share their experiences of advocating for survivors and how our community can be survivor-centered.
Arrive early to explore our current exhibition and to purchase a drink or cocktail of your choice. The conversation is free but advance registration is requested.

Join us for MoCA's inaugural Film Salon on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 from 3 - 6 PM. The Salon will feature two highly acclaimed documentaries about the art world:
- Jay Myself (Dec 10), an intimate behind-the-scenes documentary on the life of photographer and artist Jay Maisel, directed by renowned photographer and local Westporter Stephen Wilkes. Film screening will be followed by a conversation with Director Stephen Wilkes.
- The Art of Making It (Dec 11), an examination of the lives of seventeen compelling young artists navigating emerging careers in the contemporary art world. Film screening will be followed by a conversation with Producer Debi Wisch, Director Kelsey Edwards, and featured film artist Gisela McDaniel.

Calling All High School Artists: Open Call For 2023 High School Student Art Exhibition
All high school students are invited to submit works of art for our 2023 High School Student Art Exhibition by December 18, 2022. The exhibition will be on view at the Museum from January 13 - February 26, 2023.
Submissions should express the theme of Who Are You When You Are Dreaming. Learn more and submit on our website.
An Evening Of Holiday And Classical Tunes
Thursday, December 15 • 7 Pm
Bring the whole family to a festive evening of holiday and classical tunes performed by Joe Bush (piano) and Kristen Young (violin) on Thursday, December 15. The program includes Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Liszt and more! Arrive early to explore our current exhibition and to purchase a drink or cocktail of your choice.
Current Exhibition From The Pen To The Knife On View Through Dec 18
Extended Through Dec 18! From the Pen to the Knife features a unique collection of watercolors by the ground-breaking artist Marian Christy. Now 90 years old, Christy is the pioneer who invented Knifed Watercolors®, a new technique she developed into a single and original style that shatters tradition.
On Thursday Evenings: Gallery admission is complimentary after 4 PM on Thursdays! Purchase a drink or cocktail at our Happy Hour (5 - 7 PM), explore the exhibition with complimentary access, or try a Paint & Sip class (21+).
On Sunday Afternoons: Visit the exhibition on Sundays between 12 - 3 PM and the kids (ages 3 - 7) can enjoy one hour of Open Studio time ($20) while you explore the galleries. Advance registration requested; learn more. Please note there will be no Open Studio on December 11.
