6pm - Patriotic Sing
The Patriotic Sing will be returning to the Morgan Hill Amphitheater for our July 3rd program.  We would like to have any soldiers who have recently returned from deployment during the past year be our Guests of Honor.  Of course, we can’t wait to reunite with our South Bay Blue Star Moms and members of our Armed Forces as we honor those who serve.

Morgan Hill Freedom Fest - Family Music Fest

Come out and join the Family Music Fest on Monterey Road between Dunne and Main Avenue.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase at vendors as well as from local merchants.  Remember – beer and wine sales is one of our few fundraising efforts!

Cornerstone is one of the South Bay’s premiere Classic Rock and R&B bands. They cover your favorite songs from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s all the way up to current popular hits. Their instrumentation is high energy and the vocals are extraordinary. Cornerstone focuses on authenticity and having fun. That translates to their audiences as well… feeling good and having fun!

The band consists of Steve Costas – Bass, Ingrid Rottman – Lead Vocals, Jeff Stine - Drums, Phil Bulan – Vocals, Scott Peterson – Keyboards and Eric Behlmer – Guitar.

If you want to move your feet, hear fantastic harmonies and put a smile on your face they are sure to please.

July 4, 2025

8:00am - Freedom Run
Start your 4th of July celebration with a morning race that will take you through Morgan Hill’s historic, tree-lined downtown. Then stay for the award-winning parade, car show, and fireworks. We offer a USATF-certified 5K walk/run and a 1-mile race for kids. Electronic timing, participant t-shirts, finisher medals, race day photos, and post-run snacks are all included with registration. The Morgan Hill Freedom Fest is truly a hometown celebration dedicated to preserving our national and local heritage and celebrating our freedom as citizens of the United States of America. We are the largest annual event in Morgan Hill, put on entirely by volunteers, and our award-winning parade is the largest privately organized parade in Northern California and the official 4th of July Parade of Santa Clara County. Celebrated in our historic downtown core, the Community and Cultural Center, and the Outdoor Sports Center, the Freedom Fest's six events deliver a spectacular, fun-filled day every July 4th holiday. 4th Of July Cruise And Car Show

The Annual Cruise and Car Show kicks off on July 4th from the corner of Monterey Road and Main Ave. Cars will follow the parade route and finish by parking on the southbound side of Monterey Road for the car show that will commence after the parade.

The Car Show portion of the day will include most of the entries from the Car Cruise and vehicles will be on display until 2:00pm. Everyone is welcome to walk along beautiful Downtown Morgan Hill and admire all of the classic and unique cars while voting for your favorite vehicles. The award ceremony will take place on the main stage on 2nd Street and Monterey Road at 1:30pm.

10:00am - Parade

2025 Parade Theme:
"Stars, Stripes and Stories: Celebrating 150 years”

On each of the four streets of the parade are announcing stands, where you can hear about the floats and bands passing by. In addition, we commence our event at each announcing stand with the National Anthem.

9:00pm - Fireworks On The Green

Entrance to the fireworks is free to everyone! This year’s fireworks show is going to be the largest to ever light up the Morgan Hill skies, with almost 2,200 shells.

The Morgan Hill Fireworks on the Green inspire joy and symbolize freedom not only to the residents of our community, but to many folks in neighboring communities who travel here to share the celebration of our nation’s birth with us. In 2025, your Freedom Fest team, together with our other partners in the City of Morgan Hill and Santa Clara County, has been carefully working over the past months to again ensure that our event is not only exciting and fun, but safe for everyone.
