ANNAPOLIS, MD - Governor Wes Moore today announced the Moore-Miller Administration's 2025 Green Bag Appointments. The appointments reaffirm the administration’s commitment to maintaining Maryland’s historically diverse leadership on key boards and commissions across the state. Secretary of Appointments Tisha Edwards delivered the appointments to the Maryland Senate.

"I want to commend the more than 200 Marylanders who have raised their hands to serve our people through leadership roles on key boards and commissions," said Gov. Moore. "These patriots define what it means to participate in progress. Together, we are building a stronger, more durable government that looks like the communities it serves and leads with excellence."

?The Moore-Miller Administration has continued its commitment to create a government that looks like the State of Maryland. To date, a total of 3,321 appointments have been made to the state’s boards and commissions. Of Governor Moore’s Green Bag appointees today, 51% are women and 63% are people of color.

The 2025 Green Bag list includes 297 appointments, all of whom require confirmation by the Senate Executive Nominations Committee. The administration will submit additional appointments in late February.
