History at Home: Music and Musicians of Montclair
Thursday, March 13th, 7 pm on Zoom
In this third installment of the arts in Montclair, Collections Manager Erin Benz will focus on the music and musicians of Montclair! After delving into the history of the art colony and the many movies and shows that have used the town as a backdrop, it's now time to explore the rockers, composers, and bandleaders that called Montclair home. From the timeless music of Herman Hupfeld to the rockin' anthems of Joe Walsh, we guarantee to get some songs stuck in your head!

Guided House Tour: Women of the House
Sunday, March 16th at 12, 1 or 2 pm
The Crane House & Historic YWCA is a window on to the history of our nation from its early years as an independent country to a country embroiled in the civil rights struggle. On this special tour, hear the stories of the women who lived, worked, and played in the house. From the Crane wives, to the enslaved and paid workers of the house, to the women and girls of the African American YWCA, the Crane House & Historic YWCA has seen how a woman's role in the house and in society has changed over 200 years.
