The Jack Straw Artist Residency Programs offer artists in diverse disciplines an opportunity to explore the creative use of sound through residencies in our recording studios and participation in our various presentation programs. Artists may apply to only one program per year.

Ching-In Chen & Cassie Mira | Breathing in a Time of Disaster
Youth and Family Workshop: Saturday, December 3, 2pm

Join us for a hands-on sound art workshop with artists Ching-In Chen and Cassie Mira, in conjunction with Breathing in a Time of Disaster. Participants will explore the concept of breath and participate in an audio story circle. Participants will also work with Jack Straw audio engineers to create an original soundscape.

Jack Straw and the Bushwick Book Club Seattle are once again teaming up to create new music inspired by the work of the Jack Straw Writers!
