The Midwest Gypsy Swing Fest On-the-Road Tour will make a stop at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) for a night of music with Harmonious Wail, Leila Duclos and Third Coast Swing

Harmonious Wail makes listeners feel better! With decades of experience raising spirits with their original take on Django Reinhardt Gypsy Jazz, American Songbook Jazz standards and self-penned tunes, Harmonious Wail can guarantee audiences will feel better after a Harmonious Wail experience than before they came in.

Leila Duclos is a rising star of the Gypsy Jazz world in Europe. From Paris, France Leila has been named the "Fire Girl" and she is transcending genres and being recognized as a super talent. We are pleased and proud to present her to US music lovers. This young artist has always been immersed in the world of Django Reinhardt. Daughter of guitarist Cyril Duclos, she was influenced by gypsy music. In 2001, at the age of 10, she recorded her first title "Le petit cosmonaut". Subsequently, she quickly took up singing and guitar and accompanied her father on tour. She began her career in 2011, aged 19, where she recorded her first album.

Third Coast Swing from Ludington, MI has been keeping the Michigan musical fires burning, playing the music of the late Belgium born Romani Gypsy, Django Reinhardt and his band, The Hot Club Of Paris 1930'-1940's. Think Louis Armstrong with a French accent.
