On Saturday, October 7, Mesquite Arts Council + artist Rachel Muldez will team up to bring an indigenous workshop to the city of Mesquite.  This event will be hosted at the Downtown Farmers Market from 10:30-12 PM and will be inspired by the indigenous civilizations and how they used indigo dye to create patterns on textiles.  This process will be very similar to Tie-Dye, so please wear appropriate clothing.  We encourage people to register before the event, walk-ups will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

El sábado 7 de octubre, la artista Rachel Muldez del Mesquite Arts Council + se unirá para llevar un taller indígena a la ciudad de Mesquite.  Este evento se llevará a cabo en el Downtown Farmers Market de 10:30 a 12 PM y se inspirará en las civilizaciones indígenas y cómo usaron el tinte índigo para crear patrones en textiles.  Este proceso será muy similar al Tie-Dye, así que por favor use ropa adecuada.  Alentamos a las personas a registrarse antes del evento, las visitas sin cita previa serán por orden de llegada.

Meet you at the Outdoor Classroom at the Farmers Market.  In the case of bad weather, we will change location to the Mesquite Arts Center's rehearsal hall.
