Schedule of Events:

8:00 am: Hwy 62 Closed to Thru Traffic

Vendor setup begins bright and early! Only vendor vehicles, trucks, and trailers will be allowed through barricades. Vendor assignments and maps will be distributed during the vendor registration process. All vendor trucks and trailers must be moved to the designated vendor parking areas by 9:45 am.

8:30 am: Registration Tent Open at Meeker High School Parking Lot

Do you have questions or need to register for a specific Pumpkin Festival activity? Don't worry! We have streamlined the process for you this year to make it more convenient and simple. Just head over to the Registration Tent at Meeker High School Parking Lot and we will be happy to assist you. Once you arrive, we will be able to help you with the final registrations, questions regarding the car show, parade entries, parade lineup, online raffle ticket pick up, online t-shirt sales, and 2-mile fun run registrations.

9:00 am: Parade Lineup

The Meeker High School parking lot is the official location for the parade lineup. Car show entries will lead the parade, followed by the royalty pageant participants. Please make sure to line up with your designated group! If you have questions, please stop by the Registration Tent located at the entrance of the Meeker High School Parking Lot.

10:00 am: 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Parade Officially Begins

To help everything run smoothly, please make sure to complete your online parade registration form in advance. We don't want anyone to be left out! The 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Parade will begin promptly at 10:00 am. The parade will be led by the Meeker Police Chief, followed by the car show entries, and the Royalty Pageant entries, including Miss Lincoln County representatives. The horses and tractors will be lined up at the end of the parade. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces and creativity at the parade! Prizes will be awarded to the Best Parade Car Show entry, Best Royalty Pageant entry, Best Float, Most Creative, and more...

10:00 am: Guthrie Gunfighters Preparade Show

Do not miss out on the excitement happening in front of the main stage. The Guthrie Gunfighters will appear to entertain the crowd with their skills and wild antics. As the parade arrives at the stage, watch the rowdy crew closely as they scramble to hide from the Meeker Police! What are they up to? Watch out for their shenanigans throughout the day!

10:00 am - Noon: Stompin' Sensations Dance Studio

Dance changes everything! The Stompin' Sensations competitive dance teams will be performing throughout the 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival with a variety of their award winning performances.

10:00 am: Junkin Gourd Bird Houses

Back by popular demand with a slight change! Junkin Pumpkin will be hosted by Meeker Trading Company and led by Sandi Hemingway. This year, gourds from the Meeker Community Garden have been painted and prepared for the kids to create Junkin Gourds. The Junkin Gourds Creating Center will be located on Carl Hubbel Blvd and Fowler Street in front of The Shed. Please take a picture of your Junkin Gourd creation and upload it to the Meeker Growth and Development Facebook page so everyone can enjoy your creative masterpiece!

10:30 am: Car Show Begins

The 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Car Show will begin at 10:30 am. All cars, trucks, and motorcycles will be displayed in front of the stage on the south side of Carl Hubbell Blvd. between Koonce and Culver Street. Kids are invited to come vote on their favorite entry! Online Entry

11:00 am: 2-Mile Fun Run

We are excited to welcome the Meeker Xcountry Team to the festivities this year! They will host a 2-mile Fun Run with proceeds for the Meeker Xcountry Team. Participants are encouraged to race in costume and enjoy the festivities! Medals will be awarded to the top three adults and top three youth finishers. There will also be a prize awarded to the best adult costume and the best youth costume. The course starts and ends in front of Meeker's City Hall. Fun Run participants are encouraged to arrive early to confirm their registration and prepare for the run at the Meeker Community Garden (Carl Hubbell Blvd. and Koonce Street). Head to the main stage for the Fun Run line-up and starting line. Awards will be given to the first-place runner in a variety of categories.

11:45 am: Guthrie Gunfighters Show - Disturbing the Peace

By 11:45, the festivities will be in full swing, and our dedicated police officers will be busy monitoring the crowds and watching over the town. What a perfect opportunity for those pesky Guthrie Gunfighters to come out and start some trouble! Watch out for them as they reappear to disturb the peace!

12:00 pm: 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Royalty Pageant

This year, we have the special honor of inviting both Miss Lincoln County and Miss Lincoln County Teen to present the 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Royalty contestants with their crowns, sashes, and medals. The royalty pageant will be located on the Main Stage in front of Meeker City Hall. Be sure to come over and support the special kids who are proudly representing our community during this activity.

12:30 pm: 2023 Meeker Pumpkin Festival Awards Presentation

Be ready to clap and cheer as awards are presented on the stage in front of Meeker City Hall. The awards ceremony will include commendation for the following events: Parade, Car Show, Royalty Pageant, 2-Mile Fun Run. We cannot wait to see who the winners are!

1:00 pm: Kidz Zone Opens

Thanks to generous donations from members of our community, the Kidz Zone will be free to children between the ages of 2 – 15 this year! Please remember that children will need to remove their shoes before entering the inflatables. The Kidz Zone will be located on Carl Hubbel Blvd., just east of Koonce Street.

1:15 pm: Guthrie Gunfighter are Ran Out of Town

Rumor has it that those mischievous Guthrie Gunfighters will reappear at 1:15 pm for a final showdown. Don't miss the action as they are run out of town and head north in a hurry!

3:00 pm: Event Closes

At 3:00 pm, the festival will officially end. We want to thank everyone in advance for coming out, supporting the vendors, volunteering, and participating in this exciting community event! Please show your appreciation to the City of Meeker by helping to keep it beautiful and clean. It's easy! If you see any trash, just pick it up and throw it in the nearest trash can. Every little act of service adds up and helps keep our town a great place to be!

5:00 pm: Hwy 62 Official Reopens for Thru Traffic

Attention to our wonderful vendors! We are grateful for your involvement and want to keep you safe. Please make sure you are completely packed up and have exited Carl Hubbell Blvd by 5:00 pm before Hwy 62 reopens for thru traffic. Thank you so much!
