Friday evening, start your Labor Day Weekend with $25 All-You-Can-Ride Wristband night!

Friday at Matthews Alive Highlights:
- Shag dancing on the dance floor, and the best of Carolina Beach Music! Bands will bring high energy beach music fun on Friday night.
- Children’s games will open, and you can purchase an All-You-Can-Ride Wristband in the ?carnival???!? Learn more.
- Check out the Exhibitors on Sponsor Row for special deals and promotions?, and grab dinner from over 25 food vendor options!? ?

**NEW FOR 2023 - CARNIVAL OPENS AT 4PM ON FRIDAY
** NEW IN 2023! We’ve heard you! In an effort to ease the crowds if possible-the Carnival (only) will open at 4pm Friday! Wristbands and tickets will both be sold. If you can–beat the crowd and get in a few rides before dinnertime! The rest of the festival will open at 6pm, as usual. TAKE CARE when approaching the carnival area 4pm-6pm, as vendors will still be moving in!

Saturday kicks off with the Parade at 9:30am, and the Small Shops open!

Saturday at Matthews Alive Highlights:
- The Parade begins at 9:30am - one of the largest Labor Day Parades in the Southeast. Learn more.
- A great tribute band will rock the park Saturday night!
- Small Shops open at 10am, with over 160 arts & crafts vendors. Learn more.
- The Community Center opens at 10am, with the indoor exhibits opening at 11am-7:30pm. See the Piedmont Fiber Guild, Dreamweavers basket show, Woodcarvers, and much more. It’s also all indoors and air-conditioned! Learn more.
- Check out the music on the Main Stage and the Children’s Stage has fun acts all afternoon.  Learn more.

On Monday, enjoy Jazz on the main stage, view the Matthews Artist Guild’s exhibit, ?and do your last bit of shopping from our Small Shops.

Monday at Matthews Alive Highlights:
- Get your last bit of Summer fun in on the last day of the Festival! Jazz performers will be our featured entertainers for the day from 11:30am until 5pm, on the Main Stage. Learn more.
- Get your Holiday shopping done in the Small Shops.
- Ride the rides you haven’t ridden yet! Learn more.
- Get that funnel cake while you still can!
