From: Massillon Museum

The Massillon Museum’s Studio M is currently accepting applications for solo college student shows and for professional shows. Proposals must be submitted by July 17, 2024.

The student process to apply for a three-week exhibition in early 2025 is open to any junior or senior art major (BA, BFA, or MFA candidate) attending a college or university in Northeast Ohio. Students who have graduated within one calendar year of application are also eligible.

Professional artists may now apply for an exhibition of approximately six weeks in 2026/2027. Solo entrants and groups of two or three artists will be considered.

Artwork submitted should reflect a theme and be completely ready for installation. Delivery and pick-up or shipping are the responsibility of the artist.

Artwork may be for sale. The Massillon Museum will facilitate all sales transactions, retaining a 30% commission.

Each entrant must reside east of the Mississippi and be a member of the Massillon Museum. New members are welcome at any time. Student membership ($10) and professional artist membership in a choice of several levels may be purchased as part of the application. Applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable $25 entry fee.

Artists are expected to be present at the exhibition reception and interview for a MassMusings podcast.
