Massillon Museum representatives will participate in Massillon’s holiday parade, which will step off at the corner of Lincoln Way East and Eighth Street at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. The parade will lead to the annual Light-up Downtown event, which will follow immediately at Duncan Plaza next to the Museum.
The Museum’s education department has planned several family-oriented crafts for the evening in Gessner Hall. Guests may stop in to make popsicle Christmas trees, paper snowflakes, and yarn-wrapped wreaths. There is no charge or advance registration. All materials will be supplied.
The Museum shop, OHregionalities, filled with holiday gift items, will be open during the event.
The Museum is grateful for operating support from the Ohio Arts Council, ArtsinStark, and the citizens of Massillon, as well as marketing support from Visit Canton. This event is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
