Treat your holiday weekend guests to a visit to the Massillon Museum!
Although MassMu will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, it will be open during regular hours for the remainder of the holiday weekend: Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 26, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The Museum is a free local attraction residents can share with out-of-town holiday guests. Visitors will see A Way to Win: Paul Brown’s Innovations; Ethiopian Expedition of 1903; First Peoples of North America; Precarious Legacies: Exposures of a Fleeting Landscape; The Paul Brown/Massillon Tiger Football History Timeline; the Massillon History Gallery, the Immel Circus; Innovators of Massillon; and the Albert E. Hise Fine and Decorative Arts Gallery.
On the shelves of OHregionalities, the Museum shop, patrons will find handcrafted items, local history and football books, and unique holiday gifts. Museum memberships are always available at the reception desk.
Greatness Cafe, the lobby café, will be open Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Massillon Museum receives operating support from the Ohio Arts Council, ArtsinStark, and the citizens of Massillon. Museum exhibitions are funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
