Boston, MA - The MassGOP is excited for the November 5th elections, confident that our candidates are poised to gain seats in the legislature. The Party has worked tirelessly, raising funds, supporting candidates on the campaign trail, and laying a clear path to victory by spotlighting critical issues neglected by the Democratic supermajority.

In a show of strength and unity, top leaders have stepped forward to support candidates across Massachusetts. Thanks to the generous contributions of former Governor Charlie Baker, former Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito, former secretary of Housing and Economic Development Mike Kennealy, Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr, and House Minority Leader Brad Jones, the MassGOP has raised a remarkable $200,000 in October, fueling our candidates throughout this election cycle.

Our dedicated team has met with candidates weekly to discuss strategy, resource allocation, and messaging, ensuring they are well-positioned for success. So far, The Party has provided over $200,000 in direct mail support, $23,000 in text messaging for more than 25 candidates, an additional $10,000 in digital advertising, approximately $9,000 in Facebook ads to support candidates-reaching over 900,000 impressions in targeted districts-and $300,000 in coordinated mail. This marks the largest financial investment in legislative races by the MassGOP in the past five years, underscoring our commitment to challenging the Democratic supermajority’s hold on the Massachusetts legislature. For the first time in the party’s history, we have been engaging with the Secretary of State’s office to access early voting data, and targeting those voters through a robust digital and mail strategy, broadening our reach and impact.

Under the Democratic supermajority, Massachusetts faces a worsening migrant crisis, with taxpayer spending surpassing $1 billion this fiscal year alone, threatening essential services and straining our schools. Affordability is at an all-time low as residents contend with high taxes, burdensome regulations, and a hostile business climate that drives away families and businesses, stagnating wages. Massachusetts Republicans are committed to amending the right-to-shelter law to control the migrant influx, restoring affordability, and promoting a transparent government free from backdoor deals. Our candidates stand ready to bring practical solutions that will restore affordability, openness, and accountability to the Commonwealth.

MassGOP Chair Amy Carnevale commented on the upcoming election, stating, “With just one week left in the campaign, we are more confident than ever in our chances to gain seats in the legislature. The party has put in the hard work-raising funds, implementing a strategic, cutting-edge approach, and positioning our candidates for success. Our candidates have been relentless: knocking on doors by day, making calls by night, and presenting their vision to voters across the Commonwealth. We’re giving this election cycle everything we’ve got, and we’re ready to see the results on November 5th.”
