Soaring soprano Helga Davis—a returning MASS MoCA friend just like The Old Man and the Sea creator Paola Prestini—narrates this operatic adaptation, while Kronos Quartet alumnus and cellist extraordinaire Jeffrey Zeigler performs. Both epic and personal, Prestini's adaptation breathes fresh life into Hemingway’s seminal characters

Studios at MASS MoCA is thrilled to welcome a diverse group of 10 Miami-based artists this March through Oolite Arts’ Home + Away Travel Residency program.
As part of this new collaboration, the artists will spend five weeks here in North Adams, Mass. dedicated to their artistic practice and growth.

A fully loaded, three-day, eclectic super-mix of creative, experimental, and unusual music, LOUD Weekend returns, featuring the Kronos Quartet—celebrating 50 years of virtuosic strings—Love in Exile (Arooj Aftab, Vijay Iyer, Shahzad Ismaily), Ensemble Klang, Bang on a Can All-Stars, and many more.
