From: Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary ArtAkoma: Jlin & Florence To
Saturday, February 18, 8pm
Jlin and Florence To bring audiences closer to the pulse of the body, with Akoma. The multimodal concert/installation is a cosmic conversation between light and sound designed to reverberate powerful resonances throughout our Hunter Center theater. Whether you're a newbie or a veteran of the live audiovisual performance scene, you'll find a lot to love about this sophisticated art form that fuses experimental music compositions with compelling generative visuals. The work-in-progress preview performance follows the artist's two-week residency at MASS MoCA developing the work—get the first look.

Ivy Sole
Saturday, February 25, 8pm
"My theory is you can’t get enough of me 'cause I’m potent," Ivy Sole raps on their latest track. And it’s true – we can’t get enough of the Philadelphia-based songwriter, whose melodic, R&B-infused rap is as catchy as it is intimate. Sole steams up Club B-10 with piping-hot verses and spoken wordplay underscored by a live band.
Just Announced!
Ravyn Lenae
Friday, April 28, 8pm
She's toured with SZA, collaborated with Steve Lacy, and defined herself as a leading voice in the neo-R&B vanguard — this spring, the one and only Ravyn Lenae brings her sultry-smooth sound to MASS MoCA. Get ready to vibe with us — this show will melt hearts and make waves.
Daniel Giordano's alchemical assemblages
Dive into the studio with artist Daniel Giordano—whose new exhibition, Love From Vicki Island, is on view now—as he transforms the flotsam of his Hudson Valley hometown into provocatively personal portraits of a family and culture in transition.
