MarylandFest 2025

Arts and Entertainment

April 17, 2025

From: MarylandFest

MarylandFest is taking over Historic St. Mary’s City on Saturday, May 3, 2025, and it promises to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, food, and drinks.

MarylandFest will replace the former Beerfest, but this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, with the added bonus of celebrating Maryland spring in the beautiful outdoors.

Admission to MarylandFest is free, with some ticketed activities available. Along with returning beer vendors, there will be wine and spirits vendors to satisfy all tastes, making this an expanded celebration of local beverages.

Schedule:

11:30 AM: The Foggy Bottom Morris Dancers

Morris dancing is an athletic traditional dance from England.  Since 1977, the “Foggs” have performed Morris Dancing throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia - and even in other states and countries! They dance, they sing, they drink (not always in that order) and they’re happy to invite you to join them. Catch their performance at the Town Center.

12:15 - 1:45 PM: Andrew Bell

Andrew Bell is a singer/guitarist/songwriter from Baltimore MD who plays a wide range of crowd-pleasing music.

1:00 - 2:30 PM: Pictures with Pinch, the Blue Crabs mascot!

Stop by the State House to take a selfie with Pinch, the center of fun for 16 years of  Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball!

2:00 PM: Foggy Bottom Morris Men

The Foggy Bottom Morris Men will be performing in the Town Center area

2:30 PM: Dance around the maypole

Celebrate Maryland spring by joining us in a dance around the maypole! This can't be missed - literally. It's a huge pole covered in ribbons.

3:30 - 5:30 PM: 8 Ohms Band

The 8 Ohms Band hails from Annapolis, Maryland and has a powerhouse lineup of players from all over the DC metro area. Bringing heaping doses of Horn Heavy Funk. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, The 8 Ohms are known for blurring the lines between hard groove, funk, soul, reggae and a slight taste of DC's own go-go music.
