The Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival, now in its 18th year, will be held September 5-10, 2023. Our 6th annual SPECTRUM (LGBTQ+) Film Festival will be held in June over the course of several weeks in recognition of PRIDE month. Our 9th annual MV Environmental Film Festival will be held from May 25-28. Our 11th annual FILMUSIC Festival will take place from June 22-25. The 9th annual Documentary Week will occur July 31 through August 4th. And finally, our 4th WOMEN IN FILM festival will occur from October 13 -15th.
The Martha's Vineyard Film Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cultural arts organization celebrating 20+ years of service to its community. Although our main activity consists of the operation of the award-winning Martha's Vineyard Film Center, our programming offers much more than films. We produce special community events in collaboration with numerous Island non-profits, host live performances, stream MET Opera live from NYC, and offer Youth Programming year-round, including our Summer Camp with MVTV and Featherstone Center for the Arts. We hope you, our patrons and members, find this newsletter a glimpse into our continued efforts to fulfill our mission and enliven our Island’s cultural arts scene.
