From: Spotlighters TheatreLighting Grid Project
The old Lighting Grid is down - the wiring has been pulled down... The crew from Union Electric has been working to get the space ready to install the New LED Track and power supply over the stage and theatre!
There is old conduit and wiring and pipe stacked in various corners of the theatre, and the new track and hardware is waiting to go up! The crew started installing new track on Wednesday.
The old Lighting Instruments have been sorted and catalogued and are waiting to go to new homes at local theatres.
If you know of any local theatres that could use some of the lighting fixtures, please let us know - email: [email protected] Thanks!
Donations are still needed .... Support the Lighting Grid Fund!
Yes, we have the funding to install the new grid and power, and for the basic LED instruments for the stage, but we need a bit more to make the system all it can be for the best lighting at Spotlighters! We need to raise $7,500 to complete the instrument list!
Please make a donation - $25, $50, $100 or more ... go to
and make an online donation, be sure to select Lighting Grid Project as the fund. You may also make a donation by mailing a check to Spotlighters Theatre - 817 Saint Paul Street - Baltimore, MD 21202. Please include a note that this is for the Lighting Grid Project. Thanks!

The Story: ?In the small town of Shirley, Vermont, five strangers gather in a dance studio to embark on a unique journey together in a creative drama class for adults. The group moves through a series of acting exercises, ranging from the heartbreaking to the ridiculous. In this one small room, through these few seemingly trivial games, quiet wars are waged, emotional wounds are nursed, and healing is finally, slowly, able to begin.
