Lifehouse Theater Brings Back The Beloved Musical "The Wizard ?Of? Oz"

Redlands, CA - The yellow brick road winds its way to Redlands once again when LifeHouse Theater opens its acclaimed musical “The Wizard of Oz” on Saturday, May ?24,? 2025, at 7:00?PM. Based on L. ?Frank? Baum’s classic novel, this original adaptation invites audiences to relive Dorothy’s extraordinary journey to the Emerald City and beyond.

“Few shows have generated as much excitement for us as ‘The Wizard of Oz,’” notes LifeHouse President and playwright Wayne? R.? Scott. “When we presented it at the Redlands Bowl in 2000 more than 20,000 people attended. We’re thrilled to bring that same magic back to the LifeHouse stage.”

Performances continue through June? 29,? 2025. The run features Friday evenings at 7:00?PM, Saturday matinees at 2:00?PM (beginning the second weekend) followed by Saturday evenings at 7:00?PM, and Sunday matinees at 2:00?PM. A single weekday performance is slated for Thursday, June? 26, at 7:00?PM.

Tickets are $32 or $28 for adults and $18 or $16 for children ages 3–12; children under three are not admitted. Seats may be reserved online at lifehousetheater.com/tickets, by phone at (909)?335?3037, or in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00?PM to 6:00?PM and one hour prior to each performance. Advance purchasing is strongly encouraged as sell?outs are expected.

A company of more than forty Inland Empire performers brings Oz to life. Megan ?Guill stars as Dorothy, joined by Michael? Milligan as the Scarecrow, Jonathan? Bushey as the Tin Man, Jeffrey ?A.? DeWitt as the Cowardly Lion, Jana ?Smith as the Wicked Witch of the West, Jennifer? Phillips as Glinda, and Nick? Diliberto as the Wizard, with Avery ?Devin portraying Toto. Featured players include Bret? Robertson, Meigan ?Karraker, Greyson? Palermo, Syida ?Aya, and Richard ?Alonso.

Director Jana ?Smith leads an award?winning creative team: choreographers Michael? Milligan and Natalie? Johnson, costume designer Levi? Michel, scenic designer Jacob? Michel, and sound?and?lighting designer Josiah ?Evans.

“The Wizard of Oz” concludes the spring segment of LifeHouse Theater’s 31st season. The summer lineup continues with Meredith Willson’s Broadway favorite “The Music Man,” running July?12 through August?17, followed by the world?premiere musical “Jonah!” from August?30 through September?28.
