Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” comes to life in this powerful family production enjoyed by thousands throughout Southern California. Music, comedy, and the powerful redemption of Ebenezer Scrooge combine with the sights and sounds of the season for an unforgettable presentation of the true Christmas Spirit.
“I am humbled by the support from the public for this adaptation of the classic Dickens tale,” comments Wayne Scott, founder and president of LifeHouse Theater. “’Scrooge’ was the production that launched LifeHouse Theater, so it only seemed appropriate that it return for our 30th anniversary season. We look forward to bringing some much-needed Christmas cheer with a beautiful story of redemption through our Christmas event.”
"Scrooge!" performances continue on weekends through December 23. Performances are Fridays at 7:00pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special weekday performance on December 21 at 7:00pm.

“A Christmas Song in My Heart” presents the extraordinary true stories behind some of the greatest Christmas carols of all time. A broken promise of marriage, an organ damaged by mice, the death of an American president, some juggling balls and a man’s devout patriotism have all led to the creation of beloved carols sung to this day. Delight in the true joy of the Season with a Christmas song in your heart!

What is an angel tree? An angel tree is a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments that represent items the theater needs. Supporters of LifeHouse Theater can come to our angel tree located in our lobby and select an ornament from the tree to sponsor that item for the theater through a cash donation. All donations are tax deductible.
What type of items can patrons sponsor? Guests can sponsor items from a $12 bottle of weed killer to a $250 classic medieval sword and everything in-between.

Auditions
Auditions for “The Genesis Story" will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6:00pm through 9:00pm at the LifeHouse Theater.
Auditioners should bring their own sheet music in the preferred key and be prepared to sing a short selection of about 16 measures.

Lifetales Educational Musicals Return In 2024
It's not too early to begin your planning for the new year! The popular LifeTales Educational Musicals return in February of 2024 with "General George Washington."
The career of ambitious General and statesman, President George Washington, is traced amidst the turmoil and conflicts surrounding the nation’s founding. Memorable period music and authentic storytelling punctuates the saga of Washington’s ascent to power and a legacy influential to this day.
"General George Washington" performs two times a day, at 9:15am and 11:00am, February 20 - 23, 2024.
