From: LifeHouse TheaterLifeHouse Theater is thrilled to announce the launch of its 31st season with a one-of-a-kind musical experience that will transport audiences through the songs of their childhood. Robert J. Sherman’s "A Spoonful of Sherman" offers a toe-tapping tribute to some of the most iconic music ever created, celebrating the unforgettable melodies of the Sherman brothers—Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman—and their extraordinary legacy.
This heartwarming musical journey also shines a spotlight on their father, Al Sherman, taking audiences through over 100 years of the Sherman family's remarkable contributions to popular culture. "A Spoonful of Sherman" was originally conceived as a cabaret-style performance, but Robert J. Sherman has masterfully transformed it into a story-driven production that LifeHouse Theater is proud to present as its west coast premiere.
With its energetic combination of song, dance, and live music, the show brings the beloved works of three generations of the Sherman family to life on stage. Audiences will be enchanted by timeless songs from Disney classics such as Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, and the iconic It’s A Small World. This is a nostalgic celebration of the music that has touched the hearts of generations, making it a must-see for theatergoers of all ages.
