In this presentation, Mark Albertson, will explore the events that paved the way to Hitler attaining the Chancellorship and how he forged his grip on power to creaet the Third Reich.

Yoga - Just the Basics

Can’t touch your toes? Too tense to sleep at night? Try Yoga-- a system for total spiritual and physical well-being that can be done at any stage of life, a system that’s been around since 2700 BC. You’ll learn to breathe in a way that helps you relax completely, to sit and stand in ways that protect your spine and your joints and, yes, to balance on one leg like a true yogi. You’ll learn the basic poses (called asanas), even a little mindfulness. Chairs provided for help balancing.
Photoshop Workshop
6 Wednesdays, March 8 - April 12, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., $90
This workshop will introduce the Adobe Photoshop CC software as a photo editing and design tool. We will explore Photoshop basics: the toolbox, tool options, filters, using layers and selections, layer and type mask, color changes, image size and file formats. Every class will start with a demonstration, and individual attention will be given to each student. Some prior experience using Photoshop is recommended. A subscription to Adobe Photoshop is necessary, either as a student 3-month trial or as a month-to month purchase.
