AAA Connecticut Defensive Driving

Sharpen your driving skills with the AAA Defensive Driving Course. Available to both AAA members and nonmembers alike, this program is Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle approved. Drivers 60+ who complete the course, may qualify for an auto insurance discount. This course will be presented by New Canaan Police Officers Daniel Gulino and Rex Sprosta

Silvermine Art Colony Exhibit

This exhibit brings together 120 works by 23 artists of the Silvermine Art Colony - 1908-1922. Beautiful landscapes, powerful sculptures by Solon Borglum, portraits and drawings provide a comprehensive exhibit of this unique and talented art colony. RSVP early, space is limited to 15.
The Exhibition runs through April 29, 2023.

KINIMA Virtual Fitness Program, free
KINIMA fit is a virtual, interactive mobility coach for fall risk measures, providing guided exercise for improved balance, control and flexibility.
This free program requires a commitment of 45 minutes, twice a week, for ten weeks, in person at Lapham. The virtual trainer provides a 3D tech fitness platform on a monitor, creating a personalized mini gym with real-time feedback.

Learn how to make Tteokbokki, Korea’s most famous street food with Chef Jackie.
Incredibly easy and delicious to recreate at home, these soft, chewy, and spicy rice cakes are smothered in a distinctive sauce with bold Korean flavors.
Jackie is a native South Korean, she spends much of her time cooking Korean dishes and celebrating traditions passed down through the generations.
Yang Style Tai Chi

Students will learn the fundamentals of Tai Chi, including the basic movements, proper alignment, meditation, and breathing techniques led by Helen. Students of all abilities welcome.
Helen Rasmussen is dedicated to promoting greater health, well-being and vitality, sharing the healing practice of tai chi. Helen is a certified qigong and tai chi instructor.
