World Events, History and Culture Book Group
First meeting Tuesday, January 23, 2:30 pm, free

All are welcome to attend. The discussion will be led by Ken Hecht. The book for January is, Japan at War in the Pacific.

"Japan at War in the Pacific recounts the story of Japan's transformation from a Samuri-led feudal society to a modern military-industrial empire in a few decades. Japan's military leaders attempted to create an Asian-Pacific empire which at its height rivaled the British Empire in its scope and power."

The group will meet the third Tuesday of each month.
