Kristen Ford performs live at the New Moon Coffeehouse in Haverhill MA on Saturday, May 20th at 7:30pm. The doors opens at 7:00pm. Admission to the show is $20 cash at the door; and half price for those ages 18 and under.
An Indie rock rising star now living in Nashville but constantly touring (48 states and ten countries!), Kristen Ford is a singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, trouble maker and bridger of the gap between worlds. As a queer bi-racial teen, she turned to music and made it her life’s work. Her five albums attest to the versatility of her music as she blends the styles of reggae, indie, folk and blues into a lively, unique all-body performance that even may include beatboxing. Ani DiFranco calls her “amazing” and the Worcester Telegram says of her, “A little whimsical, clearly influenced by songwriting greats without losing her unique character, and offbeat enough to always have a bit of an edge.”
Tickets for this show are available at the door starting around 6:30pm; show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets may be reserved prior to the show by visiting www.newmooncoffeehouse.org. Masks are welcome but not required.
The New Moon Coffeehouse is a nonprofit, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and enjoying the creative talents of acoustic performers. We strive to bring you the best performers in a relaxing, friendly, smoke and alcohol free environment, where you can enjoy a great show, fair trade coffee, and awesome desserts.
The easiest way to get to the coffeehouse is to take 495 to exit 51A (Route 125 South). Stay on Route 125 South for about 1.5 miles. At the intersection of Routes 125 & 110, look left for a red brick church. Turn left onto Ashland Street, which is just after Kenoza Ave (aka Rte 110). Parking lots are available behind the church. The coffeehouse entrance is also there, at the back of the church. It is handicapped accessible.
