55 Years of "Wisconsin's Musical Ambassadors

Milwaukee, WI - The Kids from Wisconsin are excited to announce the 55th edition of its touring show, which will kick off on June 30th, 2023. The "Star Struck" show will honor historical individuals and groups who have risen to the top of their categories to win the ultimate award. With some of Wisconsin's most talented performers, they will be shining the spotlight on award shows such as the Grammy's, the Oscars, The Tonys, as well as performers and writers, like Duke Ellington, David Foster and Kelly Clarkson. The Kids from Wisconsin is a group of talented young performers who have been entertaining audiences for over five decades. The group is made up of singers, dancers and musicians who are all between the ages of 15 and 20. Each year, the Kids from Wisconsin put on a new show, which is designed to showcase the talents of these young performers.

This year's talented Hometown Kids hail from all over the entire state and their bios are available on our website.

During the summer tour, the Kids from Wisconsin will offer workshops at various tour locations. This is a free workshop for youth ages 7-14. During this 1-hour session, participants have a chance to hang out with the band to create their own compositions or learn portions of the choreography from the show with the singers and dancers. Kids from Wisconsin are offering 2, free, sensory friendly shows. On July 8th, in Madison, and on July 31st in Manitowoc. The shows are modified and designed to create a performing arts experience that is welcoming and inclusive for children and adults with exceptionalities that create sensory sensitivities. These are made possible in partnership with Pink Umbrella Theater Company.

In addition, the Kids from Wisconsin will be partnering with Feeding Wisconsin. This unique partnership between Kids from Wisconsin and Feeding Wisconsin combines two great organizations with Wisconsin families at the heart. Kids from Wisconsin will use their popular musical tour as a platform to advance the knowledge of food insecurity in each community. As partners, they will move "Forward Together From Stage To Table" throughout Wisconsin. Food collections will be done at every Wisconsin city on the tour stop. All the food collected will stay in the community!
