A four-time Grammy-nominated drummer, Duduka Da Fonseca has appeared on over 250 albums alongside both American and Brazilian Jazz icons. He’s led/co-led 25 albums, making him one of the most recorded Brazilian drummers. NEA Jazz Master pianist Kenny Barron says Duduka is “one of the most exciting, creative drummers on the planet.”
Joining his super-band Quarteto Universal is Maucha Adnet, vocalist with Antonio Carlos Jobim for 10 years, whom Jobim called “marvelous, a great artist.”
