View For Me and You and End as Beginning at the Irvine Fine Arts Center through January 25
The Irvine Fine Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of two new fall exhibitions: For Me and You and End as Beginning. The exhibitions run concurrently from Saturday, November 16, through Saturday, January 25. Join us for a free opening reception with the artists Saturday, November 16, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Presented in the Main Gallery, End as Beginning features sculptural and installation-based works by Randi Hokett, Zara Kuredjian, and Patricia Liverman that foreground rupture, perception, and time as dominant forces that shape our worlds and our understanding of ourselves within them. Showing in Gallery 1, For Me and You features multidisciplinary artworks by Ann Phong and Gloria Gem Sanchez that celebrate kinship and legacy and draw attention to our collective impact on the ecosystems we inhabit and pass on to future generations.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. The opening reception, exhibitions, and parking are free. For more information, visit irvinefinearts.org/exhibitions.
