Irish Arts Center is thrilled to announce Emmy award-winning comedy icon and The Late Show host Stephen Colbert and former UBS Americas and Wealth Management Americas chief operating officer Kathleen B. Lynch as honorees of our 2023 Spirit of Ireland Gala, on Friday, November 17th at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City. 

As we conclude our second full year of programming in our landmark new home on 11th Avenue, we will also be joined at the Gala by longtime honorary chairs Gabriel Byrne and Liam Neeson, with a special performance by the Irish Afro-Soul singer-songwriter Loah, a frequent and much beloved Irish Arts Center visiting artist since her first appearance with us in 2016.

Our annual Spirit of Ireland Gala supports our extraordinary multidisciplinary artistic programming and community education, allowing us to support hundreds of Irish artists and deliver first-rate cultural experiences at an accessible cost to tens of thousands of audiences of all backgrounds, in an environment of great Irish hospitality, year after year.
