Join us for a family-friendly Hull-O-Ween adventure filled with spooky and fun surprises! Start at the museum entrance and explore a trail dotted with pumpkins hidden in nooks and crannies, passing over 100 carved jack-o'-lanterns created by fellow Hullonians. Venture onto the pumpkin-lit deck, and if you're brave enough, continue through our haunted wilderness trail before returning to the main lawn.
Adults can enjoy a selection of brews provided by Vitamin Sea Brewing at our beer tent while the little ones revel in the Halloween activities. Sip a cold one and soak up the spooky vibes. Visitors are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere. Prepare for a night of pumpkin-filled adventures and Halloween cheer. We can't wait to see you there!

Get ready for Hull's Hills and Architectural Thrills led by local architect Bob Pahl. Join us as we explore the architecture of Hull Village, one of the oldest communities on the South Shore. Throughout its history, beautiful homes have been designed and built. Many of these stately homes are now off the beaten path as the main roads were built for expediency by-passing these gems. We'll examine buildings stretching from the Colonial era through to the Contemporary discussing the unique expression of familiar styles in this remote fishing village.

Our amazing friends from the South Shore Neptunes Dive Club are diving in again for their famous UNDERWATER Pumpkin Carving – and you're invited to witness the magic!
Mark your calendars: On Sunday, October 20, at 9:00 am, join us at the Windmill Point Boathouse where divers will submerge into the bay to create some truly unique pumpkin masterpieces. After emerging from the depths, their underwater works of art will be judged by the C.O. of Point Allerton CG Station – with the top pumpkin carver receiving a full year of bragging rights!

Join us for an afternoon with Stephen Kurkjian, author of *Master Thieves* featured in Netflix Series *This Is a Robbery*. The talk begins at 2 PM followed by a special tea offering some of Isabella Stuart Gardner's favorite treats. Kurkjian will discuss the still-unsolved 1990 art theft from the Gardner Museum, the most valuable in history, currently valued at $600 million. A limited number of tickets are available for $25 each.

Our current exhibit, "Nantasket Beach Steamboat Company: When Summer Meant Everything," showcases the captivating history of steamer travel from Boston to Hull at the turn of the 20th century. A highlight of the exhibit is the costume and textile display, which recreates the look of summer travelers, now on loan from the renowned collection of the Cohasset Historical Society. The Hull Lifesaving Museum and Friday Painters Group are partnering for a fall showing of their summer captures in our very own Joshua's Staircase Gallery. Artwork, the fruits of the love and labor from many of the painters who participated in this summer's program will be on exhibit. The show will run through October so be sure to drop by during museum hours to enjoy the exhibit and spread the word to friends and family to come by to admire the talent of our local art community. Don't overlook this great opportunity to purchase local art.

Head of the Weir River Race

The 2024 Head of the Weir River Race brought together 167 competitors in 42 boats across 15 categories, making it a thrilling and vibrant event. Open-water rowers from New England and New York took on the scenic, yet challenging, course through the Weir River Estuary, with beautiful fall colors providing a stunning backdrop. Thanks to everyone who rowed, pitched in, sponsored and spectated. The race showcased not only competition but also the strength of the community's spirit.
This beloved annual race is more than just a sporting event; it’s a celebration of teamwork and local pride making the 2024 race a huge success, setting a high bar for next year. Check the link to view all the official results!

Come Be Inspired! Watch and cheer as the best youth open-water rowers in New England and New York compete for the coveted "Key to the Harbor". The ICEBREAKER regatta draws 250 of the region's best youth open-water rowers in New England & New York. These middle school - high school youth compete in a series of round-robin heats. The day offers great opportunities to see races, athletes & vessels up close, so come cheer young people giving everything they've got during a day of inspirational athletics & sportsmanship.
