The Hull Lifesaving Museum's signature rowing race, the Snow Row, will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the very tip of Hull's peninsula. With its one-of-a-kind LeMans-style start, the race covers a 3 3/4 mile triangular course starting and ending off the beach at our Windmill Point Boathouse.

Spectators gather to share in the excitement of the wild and woolly start, unpredictable weather, and gathering of gorgeous boats and athletes. Entirely within view of the Boathouse, the event is as much of a thrill for spectators as for participants - a rare opportunity to see, up close, rowers of all ages from all over New England, New York, and along the East Coast, and their stunning array of wooden pulling boats - peapods, dories, wherries, whitehalls, pilot gigs, captain's gigs and Irish currachs.

Call for Food Donations & Volunteers

Saturday, March 15, 2025

We need you!  Are you a secret soup specialist? Brilliant bread baker or master sandwich maker? Not a chef but would like to bring some goodies (chips, granola bars, etc.)? If so, we need your help feeding hungry rowers and spectators at the Snow Row!

What we need:

  • Soup, chowder, or chili (minimum donation enough to fill a crockpot: 8 quarts, please drop off in large ziplock baggies)
  • Bread/rolls
  • Sandwiches (sandwiches must be individually wrapped)
  • Snacks (fruit, snack bars, chips and cookies)

Cooking not your thing?

If you have a few hours to give and want to lend a hand on race day we're looking for volunteers to:

9:30 am - 11:45 am: Set up food service

11:45 am - 2:00 pm: Serve food

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Help clean up

If your talent lies in service rather than culinary arts let us know how you'd like to help. Contact us at 781-925-5433 or send an email. See you at the race. Thank You!
