From: Hull Lifesaving Museum42nd Annual Snow Row Weekend
Here's what's happening at this year's Snow Row.
Come join us on Saturday, March 11, 2023 for the Hull Lifesaving Museum's signature-rowing race, the 42nd annual Snow Row taking place at our Windmill Point Boathouse at the very tip of Hull's peninsula. With its one-of-a-kind LeMans-style start, the race covers a 3 3/4 mile triangular course starting and ending off the beach at our Windmill Point Boathouse.
Snow Flake Meet & Greet - Friday, March 10, 5-7pm. The festivities will begin at the museum. All rowers from near and far and their entourages are invited to join us to renew old friendships, make new acquaintances and size up the competition for Saturday's race. Slide shows of prior Snow Rows and some Snow Row trivia will be playing on several screens while a bit of background music livens up the evening. Wine, soft drinks, cheese & crackers will be served. Suggested donation: $10 per person.
Order Snow Row T-Shirt (for pick up only.)
Snow Row Race - Saturday, March 11, 12:00 noon. The race kicks off for all our competitors at the beach at Windmill Point. Be on hand to witness the wild and woolly start, unpredictable weather, and gathering of gorgeous boats and athletes. Entirely within view of the Boathouse, the event is as much of a thrill for spectators as for participants - a rare opportunity to see, up close, rowers of all ages from all over New England, New York, and along the East Coast, and their stunning array of wooden pulling boats - peapods, dories, wherries, whitehalls, pilot gigs, whaling boats, and Irish currachs.
Online Registration closes Friday, March 10.
NO DAY-OF ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED.
Entry fee: $45 per racer. REGISTER HERE

Everyone should be onboard by 11:45 am, 15 minutes before the race begins to witness the one-of-a-kind LeMans racing start. Capturing the Mood, the Moment, the Magic
Although not a Hullonian by birth, more importantly, Patti was a Hullonian by heart. All who knew Patti personally or admired her photography were touched by her innate sense of the beauty of Hull peninsula and her fiercely loyal admiration for all its inhabitants. The Lifesaving Museum is taking this opportunity to pay tribute to the soul of Patti captured through this retrospective. Come join us so you might also feel that beauty captured through her photography.
