HMTC condemns the attack by a man who expressed admiration of neo-Nazis. The 19-year-old crashed a U-Haul truck into security barricades near the White House and a swastika flag was found inside his truck. When questioned, the assailant explained that he brought the flag because he admires the Nazis’ “great history,” as well as their “authoritarian nature, eugenics, and their one world order.”

As our beloved Holocaust survivors pass away at alarming rates, it is our obligation to amplify their voices and ensure that hateful individuals face consequences for their dangerous actions.
