Emeriti Evoke HA History
Though it may be easy to take for granted the historic ambience of Maryland’s capital city, eight newly named emeritus board members of Historic Annapolis think differently. They believe that 71 years of preservation have provided residents with a place that has few peers.
Brad Davidson, Ann Fligsten, Anna Greenberg, Jim Nolan and Joe Rubino gathered on a lovely evening at Paca House and Garden to inaugurate the creation of HA's emeriti group. Conversation was lively. Wisdom was plentiful. One characteristic united the group: enthusiasm. Coupled with interest in the strong financial underpinnings of an organization entrusted with the care of 12 state properties, the emeriti offered perspective on past challenges and ideas for a promising future.
It was a wonderful beginning. While they were unable to join us for the inaugural meeting, we are also grateful for the partnership of our additional Trustee Emeriti - Jib Edwards, Barry Jackson, and Bill Kardash.
