Celebrate Juneteenth in Annapolis
This weekend, Historic Annapolis is delighted to sponsor the third annual Annapolis Juneteenth Celebration, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. I hope you will join HA and the entire Annapolis community at the celebrations this weekend, whether you dance at the gala, march in the parade, participate in the festival, or visit our museum sites...
Advocacy Alert
City Dock Redevelopment
HA continues to closely monitor the City Dock redevelopment project. With the first phase complete – we were delighted to celebrate the opening of the new Hillman Garage yesterday – the City turns its focus on the major infrastructure components: environmental resiliency, enhanced public space, and upgraded amenities.
HA advocates for protecting the views to and from the water and the small scale character that makes the heart of the historic district so special.
If you missed the City Council work session on City Dock last week, you can watch here. We encourage you to contact your elected officials to learn more about this exciting and impactful project, ask questions, and share your thoughts.
