The 1908 Looff Carousel

Don't you just love the Carousel at Heritage? Of course, you do, it's a carousel. It is one of the most visited attractions here on the grounds, and if you've seen it, you know why.

Hand-carved by Charles I.D. Looff, this working piece of art is home to several enchanting menagerie figures, and all of these antiques need care. To learn a bit about the restoration process, featuring the 2018 restoration of our Lead Horse "Thunder," click here to view the video.
