Creating Cape Cod

Due to popular demand, this exhibit has been extended through the 2023 season. With added features, this stroll through Cape Cod's journey from a collection of sleepy towns into a tourist destination will be sure to delight.

This outdoors sculpture exhibit dives deep into the realm of dreams. Fantastical interpretations come to life on the grounds at Heritage this May.

Wampanoag Wetu, Three Sisters Garden & Mush8n

The wetu and accompanying garden are one of the most popular features on the grounds, and this year we'll be adding a Wampanoag mish8n! See the call out box for more information on this year's exhibit.

From Carriage to Classic: How the Automobile Transformed America

Heritage has the great opportunity to continue the story of an integral piece of American history. Many cars are being brought back, including our newly re-activated 1917 Milburn Light Electric.

2023 Exhibit Highlight: Wampanoag Mush8n

We are delighted to have the opportunity to once again team up with our friends at SmokeSygnals, a local Wampanoag-run creative agency, to bring our guests more of the Wampanoag experience.

With miles and miles of shoreline, boats have long been a necessary tool for people who live on the Cape. This year, we invite visitors to come and learn about one particular boat that was an integral part of Wampanoag daily life. Come see how the "People of the First Light" crafted the mush8n (pronounced mishoon) this July!
