Our Haunts:

Deadlands

A desolate town infected by the walking dead.

Far out in the west there used to be a town, known as Deadlands. The streets were lined with shops and houses, and the saloon was never empty. Folk came from across the country to try and get their hands on the silver that was being dug up in the mines below. Unfortunately, a lust for riches often leads to a rise in crime. This made Deadlands the perfect hunting ground for bounty hunter, Cyrus Lynch. He was absolutely ruthless. If he was hunting you, he’d find you. Cyrus had a trail of bodies that followed him, and you can only imagine the shock he felt when those bodies started rising.

After a group of miners accidentally dug their way into an ancient catacomb, some kind of virus started spreading throughout the town, a virus that made the dead walk. Now, the shops and houses have been boarded up, and the once bustling streets are still and silent, except for the occasional corpse strolling by. The only living person left is Cyrus Lynch, who has sworn the rest of his life to stopping this infestation from spreading outside of the town of Deadlands.

The Ward

A research facility, that is exploring the levels of death, in an attempt to prolong life.

Just outside of the town of Deadlands, there’s an abandoned medical research facility. It was founded by the esteemed Dr. Ghast. In its early days, the establishment conducted experiments in the attempt to find cures for illnesses and diseases, but as time went on, a madness began to take over Dr. Ghast. As this madness grew, he became more and more violent, and so did his studies.

It wasn’t long before The Ward turned from a hospital to a torture chamber. Ghast’s cruel experiments drove his patients mad, and hungry for revenge. The Ward is always looking for new patients, but it is said that those who check in, never check out.

The Blightwoods

Try to escape the infected woods and its newly awakened vengeful creatures

The legend of The Blightwoods starts at The Ward, a place of horror in its later years. Dr. Ghast, the establishment’s owner, was known to be cruel. Three of his patients, sisters from the nearby town of Deadlands, were what he hoped would be his greatest accomplishment. After injecting them with a sample he found in Murk, he watched in horror and delight as the substance corrupted their minds and bodies, eventually killing them. He left the room frustrated by yet another failure, but when he returned, the three had vanished.

Legend has it they escaped into The Blightwoods, a forest that sits directly behind Deadlands and above the catacombs of Murk. Clearly plagued by the dark forces surrounding the woods. It is said that the women, known as the witches of the woods, have learned to harness that dark energy to posses the plants and animals, whether dead or alive, in order to exact their revenge on Dr. Ghast.

Misery Mine

In the depths of darkness, Misery Mine beckons the brave souls willing to venture into the unknown. As you step inside, a chilling silence engulfs you, broken only by distant echoes and the faint sound of dripping water. Prepare to lose all sense of direction as you navigate through the narrow, claustrophobic tunnels, shrouded in complete darkness. No ordinary lights will guide your way – only a feeble glow stick to provide a glimpse of the horrors lurking in the shadows. As you move cautiously, the unsettling whispers of long-forgotten souls echo around you, heightening your anxiety. Misery Mine replaces the infamous Murk haunt, and it’s designed to push the boundaries of fear, making it an unmissable experience for thrill-seekers who crave a chilling and spine-tingling adventure.
