Harvard Art Museums Happenings for July 2024

Arts and Entertainment

July 17, 2024

From: Harvard Art Museums

Did you know that every month, works rotate into our permanent collections galleries? We’ve launched a series of Index articles highlighting a selection of these newly installed works, so you’ll know what to look out for when you visit.

Summer is here, and our spring exhibitions are coming to a close! Be sure to experience LaToya M. Hobbs: It’s Time and Future Minded: New Works in the Collection by Sunday, July 21.

This month has a full calendar of artful events, such as a weaving workshop and a gallery talk focused on Lee Bontecou’s and Eva Hesse’s drawings and prints of the 1960s. And don’t forget: four days a week, until August 15, you can join Harvard students on a thematic tour of the museums’ collections!

Please note that the museums will be closed Thursday, July 4, for Independence Day.
