From: Greer Freedom BlastCity of Greer’s Freedom Blast Festival is back! Join us on June 24 from 6:00pm-10:30pm at Greer City Park.
One of the largest fireworks shows in South Carolina, an evening of live entertainment, food vendors offering festival fare, army vehicles, and numerous activities for children.
Freedom Blast annually allows the Greer community and visitors from across the Upstate to celebrate freedom with the goal of honoring both active and veteran servicemen and servicewomen who have made that freedom possible.

6:15pm: Team Fastrax Skydiving Show
Team Fastrax™ made Freedom Blast's 10th anniversary an event to remember. The team returns for 2019 with a special Flag Show to honor veterans. The skydive team consists of many Armed Forces veterans and has performed over the Pentagon in Washington and Independence Hall in Philadelphia. It remains the only civilian parachute demonstration team to have performed over Ground Zero in New York City.

The City of Greer takes a few minutes during Freedom Blast to remind everyone why "Freedom" is in the name of the event.
When the band takes a break, it's time for the annual Salute to the Armed Forces and Veterans. This program on the Main Stage is intended to help all remember that freedom is not free. It not only honors current members of the military, but also veterans in attendance. Come thank our heroes for their service.
Those participating in the Veterans Walk are asked to gather at the Amphitheater Stage by 6:15pm to line up.

6:52pm - Amazing Grace on bagpipe performed by Art Davis
6:58pm - Taps on bugle performed by Stephen Goshorn, retired

7:15pm: Texas Roadhouse Rib Eating Contest - Main Stage
There may be no better way to spend Freedom Blast than chowing down on Texas Roadhouse ribs. Gaining fame as the Rib Eating Contest champion is just another perk.
7:30pm: Ryan Abel and Friends - Main Stage
Ryan Abel & Friends from Augusta, GA covers everything from southern rock, country, funk, soul, blues, and Motown.
8:30pm: Taped Music

10:00pm: Fireworks - City Park
As Freedom Blast draws to a close, it's time for one last hurrah. The City of Greer does not disappoint, hosting one of the largest fireworks displays in South Carolina. Get ready for a pyrotechnics display worthy of our Armed Forces and veterans!
