This Saturday, May 13 at 7:30 pm marks the SSO's finale for the 2022-23 season with Beauty Amid Chaos. The season has been filled with incredible performances by our talented Orchestra and guest performers who have filled Symphony Hall with beautiful music. We have shared many legendary moments and truly felt the excitement building in the community for symphonic music in Downtown Springfield.

Matt Haimovitz joins the SSO to play Thomas de Hartmann's Cello Concerto, a piece that adds special significance to this concert and its prevailing theme.

The Springfield Symphony Youth Orchestras Awaken the Force on May 14
Join us for an afternoon of music and celebration with the Springfield Symphony Youth Orchestras (SSYO) season finale concert on May 14 at 3:00 pm at Symphony Hall. Experience the thrill of John Williams' iconic Star Wars: The Force Awakens themes, along with classic works by Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and more!

The SSYO's talented young musicians will transport you to another galaxy with their inspired performances, showcasing their exceptional talent and musicianship. Adult tickets are available for $20, and admission is free for those under 18.

"Sing, Praise, Light" With SSO Chorus
Experience the uplifting power of music with "Sing, Praise, Light," a concert by the Springfield Symphony Chorus on May 20 at 4 pm at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Holyoke. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at the door, with proceeds benefiting The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
