LINCOLN, NE – On June 13th, Governor Jim Pillen announced he is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Nebraska Public Power District Board (NPPD) of Directors. The open position is in Subdivision 4, which includes Lincoln, Hayes, Frontier, Gosper and Red Willow counties.

Prospective applicants can apply through the Governor's Boards and Commissions portal at https://governor.nebraska.gov/board-comm-req. Applications can also be mailed to the Governor’s Office, P.O Box 94848, Lincoln, NE 68509. Applicants must live within Subdivision 4 and reside in an area served directly or indirectly by NPPD. The deadline for applications is end of business June 26, 2024.
