CHARLESTON, WV - Governor Patrick Morrisey issued the following statement on Jan 20th, on the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump:

“On Jan 20th, I join all West Virginians who are excited for this new golden era of American leadership, and I look forward to working with President Trump to build a bright and prosperous future for our state and nation.”

In his inaugural address, Morrisey pledged to partner with President Trump to leverage West Virginia’s natural resources as “America’s energy state” and referred to Trump as “an honorary West Virginian.”
