Spring Recreation and Aquatics

Registration opens for Gilbert Parks and Recreation's 2023 spring programs at the end of February.

Two registration periods will take place this month; the first being for Spring Aquatics and the second being for Spring Recreation.

All classes will be available to view online beginning on February 17th. Take note of these important dates:

2023 Spring Aquatics Registration Dates

Monday, February 21 at 7 AM- Foundation Members
Tuesday,February 22 at 7 AM - Gilbert Residents
Tuesday, February 22 at 10 AM - Non-Residents

2023 Spring Recreation Registration Dates

Monday, February 27- Foundation Members
Tuesday, February 28 - Gilbert Residents
Wednesday, March 1 - Non-Residents

Upcoming Free Events

Gilbert Outdoors Expo

Get outside and join us on February 25th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Riparian Preserve for demonstrations in fishing, camping skills, archery, wildlife encounters and more.

Concerts in the Park

Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and meet us under the Water Tower for our lunchtime Concerts in the Park.

Concerts take place from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM on select Thursdays in March.

Nerf Wars Boot Camp

Get ready to master your skills at Nerf Wars Boot Camp on February 18th at the Gilbert Civic Center!

Registration is required based on the appropriate age bracket.

Ages 7-11 from 8 AM 10 AM
Ages 9-14 from 9 AM to 11 AM

Kidz Kamp

Freestone Recreation Center is holding three opportunities for Kidz Kamp!

Men’s Futsal League

We’re bringing you an Adult Futsal League!

Futsal is a soccer-based game played on a hard court smaller than a soccer field, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side soccer and indoor soccer.
