Forging a Nation: Johnstown Iron & Steel is now open!
New permanent exhibition at the Heritage Discovery Center

This monumental exhibition is a timeline that walks you through the story of Johnstown's iron and steel industry from its beginnings in the 1700s all the way through the present. Years in the making, Forging a Nation completes the Iron & Steel Gallery at the Heritage Discovery Center, which already features a 25-minute film, "The Mystery of Steel," and the exhibition "A Steelworker's Story."

Admission to the exhibition is included in your ticket to the Heritage Discovery Center (JAHA members get in free). Current hours: 10am-5pm Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat; noon-5pm Sun (closed Tues-Wed). Plan a visit soon!
