Forbes Library will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023 in observation of Juneteenth. We will reopen with usual hours on Tuesday, June 20. Access to thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks as well as powerful research databases are still available from the library's website.

Far Out Film Discussion: La Roue

Far Out Film Discussion will meet in the Community room at 6:30 to talk about the 1923 silent film La Roue directed by French filmmaker Abel Gance. This 4 1/2 hr movie can be viewed on Kanopy using your Forbes library card.

Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party!

Join us on Forbes Library lawn for our Summer Reading Kickoff Party! This year's theme is "Find Your Voice." Sign up for our Summer Reading Program with a children's department staff member, enjoy mini ice cream cones, and have fun with bubbles, face painting, and sticker making!
Our special guest this year is Trevor the Games Man---he'll be out on the lawn from 10-11:30 doing running games, ribbon crafts, and stilt-walking!
