Message from the Executive Office
We are so thrilled to welcome the students of the Ahrensburg Youth Symphony Orchestra (Germany) to Flint this Saturday through October 8. Thank you to all that volunteered to host these students, they (and us!) are in for an incredible week!
In addition to the joint concert with the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra (FYSO) on October 5, the students will participate in chamber music sessions, field trips throughout Michigan and celebratory dinners (complete with German and American food.) The opportunity to play music with and for their new international friends is an experience they will never forget. The FYSO students will have the opportunity to travel to Germany and France in June 2024. Music truly is the universal language!
